Most coordination agencies connect you to crews. GripDude is the crew. Run by working gaffers with our own equipment, trucks, and rental house, we handle everything from your kit list to your call sheet, your location to your invoice — in your language, at your standard, at the number we agreed. 01Korea's lighting inventory differs from home — in brands, stock and naming. Send your kit list, references and moodboards exactly as they are: we translate them into the right fixtures and crew for local conditions, set up and ready to shoot.
02We own our lights, stands and textiles, run GripTools — our own rental house — and drive a 3.5-ton liftgate truck and a 1-ton to set. No re-brokered rentals, no stacked margins. One point of contact, one point of responsibility.
03Send your kit list as-is — super windup, mombo combo, cardellini, 12x12 unbleached muslin. We prep Schuko power, write bilingual call sheets and PPMs, invoice in GBP, USD, EUR or JPY and take Wise or SWIFT. Shoot in Korea the way you shoot at home.
04Heritage hanok courtyards, cultural collaborators, spaces without a listing. Because we protect locations and keep our word, they open their doors when we call — and welcome us back. Your production gets the Korea that isn't in the database.
What we do
Quotes split our services from third-party pass-throughs, so you see where every won goes. When a setup grows mid-shoot, we talk first — and we've absorbed gear rather than break an agreed number. That's how a first job becomes a standing relationship.
How it works
Treatment, moodboard, kit list — in whatever shape your gaffer wrote it. We read it the way a head of department reads it, and come back with questions that save money.
